We are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo close. We even have the first "Proof Book" in hand. This is what the book really looks like. Of course, there are changes to be made, but we are so close. And then there is the map! Uggh. The map is a challenge. Trying to get the map to print to where you can read the cities has been a challenge. Turns out though, part of the problem was we had the typeset on bold. By taking off the bold, we are hoping it is clearer. In our "Proof Book," the map actually looked good. You can read the map, but with a little difficulty. So we decided to see if we can make it just a little bit more legible.

Because this is a self published book, and AuthorLab.pro is fantastic, there are some things I am not quite able to do. The map is not done through AuthorLab, as the edit range they use, is not big enough. I think I will talk with them about adding a map feature. Wonder if they will listen... Hmmm. For now, I use PowerPoint. As my printer Daryl said, PowerPoint is good for using PowerPoint Presentations, but not high quality product pictures. Since the map was made by using PowerPoint, the resolution is lower than what a printer actually might need. D&R Press has been truly a blessing. Daryl has walked me through the process and we talk often as to how things work on his end. A true learning experience for me. All the better, as books two, three, and four follow suit with this one. Book two will have some added additions to the map, but for the most part, this is the map.

My and I have been busy doing many things. Getting the book ready is a priority, but so are other things. Beautiful day today and Mino wanted to be outside as much as possible. Can't say I blame him. We are working on producing bookmarks. Bookmarks will be $1 for anyone who wants one. Best to buy it when you buy the book.

My handyman, Jeremey Mortimer stopped in today to deliver a project he has been working on for us. When I showed him the "Proof Book" his eyes lit up. He is excited that we will have it in time for Christmas.

Had some internet issues. Turns out one of our pieces of equipment is around ten years old. Time to update when you have internet one minute, don't have it the next, only to have it again two minutes after that. Best part is, our service man provided some additional inspiration for book four.

Finished the cover for book two. No spoilers though. You have to wait. Don't want to mention something too early and ruin your experience with Svenska Handelsbanken.

Soon, dear readers, soon. We are excited to say that we are in the final stages and looking forward to producing our book to you soon. Thank you for reading. You make us who we are. The experience of writing a book is more delightful when we can share our experience with you. Thank you.
